Thanks for all the kind words regarding our recent Cover of AC/DC’s Hell aint a bad place to be.
We were really chuffed when classic rock asked us to contribute to the cover mount CD for the second month in a row. (Summer 2012) And Track number 1 at that!
We had lots of different ideas about which song from 1977 we should cover in the end how could we not have a shot at the awesome DC!
After a hectic 2 days at Leicesters own, Dojo Media recording studio with our long term friend Ollie Petch, we managed to get the song down. We hoped to try and capture a bit of the 70′s style so everything bar a couple of vocal over dubs were recorded live just like how Angus and the boys did it all those years ago!
The blurb in the mag read:
“Rock and roll changed radically i n 1977. Well most rock and roll did. AC/DC stayed exactly the same, bless’em. A roof-burner from Let There Be Rock, Hell… Covered all the important bases: killer riffs, demons, the devil and loose women. This song launched a thousand bands, including fiery brit scruffs SKAM, who let loose here with a furiously punky take on the tune. Thier debut album It’s Come To This is out now.”
Hope you enjoy it.
